Vijay's new movie 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was officially announced by the production house Seven Screen Studios on January 30th. The Thalapathy fans went berserk on the internet and made the topic trending number one in no time.

In the statemtent released by the producers it has been confirmed that Anirudh, Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj are serving as the music director, cinematographer and editor respectively. There was also a promise that the rest of the cast details will be revealed soon.

Keeping the promise Seven Screen Studios has officially announced that veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is on board. The 64 year old handsome star has stated "Whe I heard the oneline of 'Thalapathy 67', I knew that exact moment I had to be part of this film and I am thrilled to start this journey." This marks the 'Kalnaayak' actor's foray into Tamil cinema after four decades since his debut as hero in 1981.

Earlier we broke the news that the cast and crew of 'Thalapathy 67' including Lokesh Kanagaraj, Priya Anand and Trisha Krishna have already flown from Chennai and landed in Srinagar, Kashmir for a month long major shooting schedule.
