Meanwhile, the latest buzz among Kollywood circles is that Thalapathy Vijay is all set to act in a script made for Superstar Rajinikanth and it will be his 67th film. Earlier, there were talks going on a film to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with Thalaivar Rajini in the lead role. It was speculated that Kamal Haasan will produce the project and also play an important role in it.
The movie almost took off but was shelved at the last minute after Rajini decided not to do that film. Then, Lokesh Kanagaraj went on to direct Ulaga Naayagan Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram', which is slated to release on June 3. Now, it is almost confirmed that Lokesh will direct Vijay in 'Thalapathy 67'.
According to trustable sources, it is being said that Lokesh Kanagaraj narrated the script, which was made for Superstar Rajinikanth and was supposed to be produced by Kamal Haasan, to Thalapathy.
