As reported by us much earlier there are around seven villains in 'Thalapathy 67' and talks are on with big names such as Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, Vishal, Gautham Vasudev Menon and others. Meanwhile the latest news is that veteran actor Manzoor Ali Khan has signed on to play one of the villains.

According to reports, Lokesh Kanagaraj has requested the 60 year old to reduce his weight and get fit before the shooting date. It is said that Manzoor is currently engaged in a strict diet and workout regime and latest photos and videos of him in the gym have gone viral.

It is worth mentioning that Lokesh Kanagaraj's first choice to play the lead in 'Kaithi' was Mansoor Ali Khan but the film later went to Karthi. Similarly he paid tribute to the veteran villain by playing his song "Chakku Chakku Vathikuchi " in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' during a fight scene. Looks like finally the Manzoor-Lokesh combo is happening in 'Thalaapathy 67'. Stay tuned for the official confirmation.
