Thalapathy Vijay and Keerthy Suresh pairing up for the third time?

Thalapathy Vijay is currently acting in 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally in which Rashmika Mandanna is playing his love interest. The film produced by Dil Raju is slated for release on Pongal 2023 and the work flow is well planned to mee that deadline.
Meanwhile the pre-production work for Vijay's next 'Thalapathy 67' has already started. Lokesh Kanagaraj is helming the project which is produced by Seven Screen Studios and this will be his second film with Vijay after the super hit 'Master'.
It is said that Vijay will play the role of a 50-year-old gangster in 'Thalapathy 67' and will be facing 6 villains who will be portrayed by leading actors from Bollywood and South Indian cinema. Big names such as Sanjay Dutt, Action King Arjun, Prithviraj Sukumaran are said to be in talks. Early reports also say that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also likely to be one of the villains.
With regards to the leading lady it is already widely reported that Trisha Krishnan will be playing Vijay's wife in 'Thalapathy 67' and will be reuniting with him after fourteen years since their last outing 'Kuruvi' in 2008.
Now the hot buzz is that there is another female lead in 'Thalapathy 67' and talks are in advanced stages with Keerthy Suresh for the role and she too will be romancing Vijay in the film. If this turns out to be true it will be the third time that Vijay and Keerthy are sharing screen space after 'Bhairavaa' and 'Sarkar'. Stay tuned for the official updates on this exciting project.
