Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi and costarring Rashmika Mandanna released today worldwide to mixed reviews but getting the thumbs up from family audiences. Several celebrities from Kollywood have watched the first day first show of the film and have shared their opinions.
Ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who worked with Vijay in 'Master' and is currently directing him in 'Thalapathi 67' watched the early morning show of 'Varisu' at the Vettri theater in Chromepet in Chennai. Later speaking to newspersons he shared that he loved the film and was happy to see Vijay in a family oriented film after a long break.
Fans who surrounded him shouted out when updates on 'Thalapathy 67' will come to which he replied that since 'Varisu' released today the updates for his next will follow soon. To whether any special announcement can be expected for Pongal, Lokesh promised that he will reveal the date very soon. Needless to add that Thalapathy fans cheered this update from him about their icon's next biggie.
'Thalapathy 67' is produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music. It is said that Trisha is playing Vijay's pair after a long time while Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, Arjun, Manzoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon and others are part of the cast. The film is expected to release on Diwali this year.
