Thalapathy Vijay fans are having a field day every day as on the one hand, 'Varisu' is gearing for release on Pongal 2023 and on the other hand, updates have started coming in for his next biggie 'Thalapathy 67'.

As of now the general infor is that 'Thalapathy 67' is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with music by Anirudh and produced by Seven Screen Studios. Several big names such as Trisha, Nivin Pauly, Vishal, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon and others are said to be in talks to star in important roles.

It is now reported that popular costume designer Praveen Raja has been brought on board 'Thalapathy 67'. This will be his second film with Lokesh Kanagaraj after 'Kaithi'. Praveen's other credits include Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta', Dhanush's 'Jagame Tantram', Vikram's 'Mahaan' and Mani Ratnam's 'Navarasa' (Peace episode).

Sources say that Vijay is currently vacationing in Dubai with his family and on his return home wil lparticipate in a look test. It has already been reported that the mass hero will be playing an ageing gangster and his costumes will geup will be a major highlight along with his costumes.

'Thalapathy 67' is expected to go on floors on December 5th in Munnar and later in various other locations. A formal announcement along with the rest of the cast and crew members will be out by the 4th. Stay tuned.
