Whoa! These massive stars from LCU acting in Thalapathy 67?

Ever since Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' became one of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema the expectations for Lokesh Kanagaraj's next 'Thalapathy 67' has skyrocketed multifold. On December 5th the launch of the film was held in utmost secrecy with Vijay, Lokesh, Anirudh, Trisha, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan and producer Lalit Kumar reportedly in attendance.

It has also been reported that the announcement video of 'Thalalpathy 67' was shot in three days with Thalapathy Vijay. The big debate on social media is whether the film belongs in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) or a standalone project. Sources close to the team swear it is part of the director's world of drugs, gangsters and cops.

A buzz has started doing the rounds in Kollywood that massive stars from the LCU are very much a part of 'Thalapathy 67'. Accordingly Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil will be appearing from 'Vikram' and Karthi will return as Dilli from 'Kaithi'. This is truly the greatest dream combo ever to happen in Tamil cinema and fans will give anything to just watch them all sharing screenspace with Thalapathy Vijay. We have to keep our fingers crossed for at least another month to really get an official update on the cast.

So far as we know even without the LCU, 'Thalapathy 67' has a stellar starcast of Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mysskin. We have to wait till the announcement video to release may be on Christmas or New Year to get a little more closer to the exact casting details. But for now lets enjoy the speculation which gives a big high as a movie lover.
