Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya has emerged as the biggest blockbuster hit in Tamil cinema history.   Expectations are sky high for his next film which is going to be 'Thalapathy 67' in which he will be reuniting with his 'Master' hero Thalapathy Vijay.

Vijay fans were eagerly anticipating the official announcement of 'Thalapathy 67' on Vijay's birthday on June 22nd but they got three first looks of their idol's next 'Varisu'.  Now Kollywood insiders are suggesting that the date has been fixed with a sentimental touch.

According to sources, 'Thalapathy 67' is likely to be announced on August 24th which is the same date that Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Thalapathy 64' later titled 'Master' was announced in 2019.  The new film is produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios who also coproduced 'Master' and hence the sentiment could well hold good.  Lets wait and watch if this exciting info turns into a reality.
