Tamil director unites with Vamshi Paidapally for 'Thalapathy 66'?

As usual, we broke the news first to you that Vijay has confirmed his next movie to be directed by Tollywood filmmaker Vamshi Paidapally and produced on a very high budget by Dil Raju. The industry is abuzz with reports that the Thalapathy has signed the bilingual project for a huge sum in excess of 100 Crores making him the highest-paid actor in the South.

We now have the additional info that 'Cuckoo' and 'Joker' fame director Raju Murugan has been roped in to write the dialogues for the 'Thalapathy 66' Tamil version. Similarly, popular Tamil cinema editor Praveen K.L. has also boarded the mega project with Thaman in talks for composing music. The official announcement on this project is expected on a festive date in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, the current schedule of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures is likely to be wrapped up by the end of this week. The team will then fly to Russia for the next schedule in the first week of September.

'Beast' has music by Anirudh and has the star cast of Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Aparna Das.
