Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures is all set to release on April 14th worldwide and the mass hero is ready to start shooting his next even before that. According to reliable sources 'Thalapathy 66' will go on floors on the auspicious Ugadi day which falls on April 2nd.

The big breaking news is that actress Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in as the heroine of 'Thalapathy 66'. Many top actresses including Pooja Hegde and Kiara Advani were considered for the role but Tollywood sources swear that it is the 'Pushpa' girl who got it. Director Vamshi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju are said to be pleased to welcome the sensational actress on board.

A grand set of a palatial bungalow in which the story is set is under construction and the team is keen to kickstart the film in it. However there is a plan B too according to which if the set is not complete by then, the team will instead shoot a song. Rashmika will also take part in the song tuned by Thaman and will match steps with Thalapathy Vijay whom she has said in many interviews is her favorite star.
