Meanwhile we are bringing to you an exclusive interview with music composer Thaman who for the first time has revealed hitherto unknown aspects of 'Thalapathy 66'. At the outset it is clear that the busy Tollywood composer is a hardcore Vijay fan and its a dream come true project for him.

Thaman asserted that contrary to popular belief, 'Thalapathy 66' is an out and out Tamil film and will only be dubbed into Telugu. He further shed light that it is a highly emotional family drama which will bring out the powerful performer in Vijay and promised that director Vamshi Paidipally will be talked about long after the film's release.

Coming to the songs Thaman revealed that 'Thalapathy 66' wll have six songs and one more will be added if the story demands. Surprisingly he heaped praises on arch rival Anirudh stating that both his 'Vaathi Coming' and 'Arabic Kuthu' for Vijay are his all time favorite.

Going further Thaman opines that only a hardcore Vijay fan can come up with such songs and now being one himself it is time to prove it too. He also posed a friendly open challenge to Anirudh that he will come up with an album that will beat his recent Vijay hits.
