Thalapathy Vijay who is waiting for the release of his much-anticipated film Beast directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is most likely to start shooting for Thalapathy 66. Reports around the highly anticipated film suggest that the movie will be going to the floors with an official pooja around the first week of April.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film will be produced by Dil Raju. During an interview, the filmmaker revealed that Thalapathy 66 will be high on emotions and he also said that the script has been written keeping the actor's stardom in mind. The film will mark the first time collaboration between Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipally, and Thalapathy Vijay.

Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the lead lady alongside Thalapathy Vijay in this yet-to-be-titled film along with Prakash Raj. The official announcement about the other cast and crew are yet to arrive.

Coming back to Thalapathy's next outing Beast, the second single of this much-anticipated film is expected to arrive soon. The film stars Pooja Hegde as the lead lady and has Selvaraghavan playing the baddie.
