Thalapathy 66 kick starts with Pooja! Look who all attended

We all know that famous Telugu director Vamsi is directing Thalapthy 66 with Vijay playing the lead role. National crush Rashmika Mandanna who is busy shooting for her Bollywood project was roped recent to play the female lead in this film.

Now the film has kick-started with the Poojai in Chennai and the function is graced by Vijay, director Vamsi and other crew members. According to reports, the first schedule will take place in Chennai and it is most likely to be a song shoot.

Thaman is reported to score music for Vijay for the first time in the film. ‘Thalapathy 66’ is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, but the film might be a Pan Indian release depending on the success of Beast in North India.

Beast is directed by Nelon Dlipkumar. Vijay, who appears as a spy in the film, shares the screen with actor Pooja Hegde. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Beast marks Pooja Hegde’s comeback to Tamil cinema after nine years. The film marks the first-time collaboration between Vijay and Nelson Dilipkumar.
