Thalapathy Vijay fans are in super celebration mode with just a couple of days more to go fo their idol's 48th birthday on June 22nd. Their big expectation is for an official update on his upcoming movie 'Thalapathy 66' and the team has officially given them reason to celebrate even more.

Sri Venkateshwara Creations the producer of 'Thalapathy 66' has officially announced that the first look poster of the film will be unveiled on June 21st evening at 18.01. The announcement is accompanied by a mass poster of Vijay in a stylish look with a backpack.

'Thalapathy 66' is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju with Thaman scoring the music. Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna play the lead pair while Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu are in the cast. Superstar Mahesh Babu is reportedly playing a cameo role.

Our Tollywood sources have informed us that the film has been titled 'Varasudu'/'Vaarisu' meaning heir in English. We have to wait and see if this is the title of 'Thalapathy 66' or if there is another big surprise.
