Thalapathy Vijay unwittingly caused a sensation on April 6th by going to vote on a bicycle which became the trending topic on social media and debated on television. That very night he flew off to Georgia in the USA for the first scheduled shooting of his upcoming movie 'Thalapathy 65'.

Pallavi Joshi who is the costume designer of 'Thalapathy 65' shared a video of the Georgia shooting spot on her Insta stories signaling that the work has already begun. Our sources close to the team said that Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and a few other stars will be participating in this schedule which would go on for a little over two weeks.

The 'Thalapathy 65' team will then return to Chennai and will immediately start shooting for a song from May 3rd onwards choreographed by Jani which will go on till May 9th and then the talkie portions will begin in the city itself.

'Thalapathy 65' is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music and Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera.
