Vijay is currently shooting for his new movie tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 64' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in Shimoga in Karnataka. Vijay Sethupathi who is playing the villain will also join the sets and participate in high octane action sequences with Vijay and the ensemble cast of Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah and Shantanu Bhagyaraj. Meanwhile, the buzz about Vijay's next movie after this one is gaining momentum as well simultaneously.

As reported by us earlier Vetrimaaran, Magizh Thirumeni and a few other directors have narrated scripts to Vijay who wants to start his next project 'Thalapathy 65' as soon as the current one is wrapped up. It is said that Vetrimaaran is most likely to helm the project but there could also be a shuffle after the completion of 'Thalapathy 64'. Now the big news is that Vijay is reuniting with his 'Sarkar' producer Sun Pictures for his next and sources say that there is a plan to announce the project on Pongal 2020.
