Director Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Kaithi' fame has achieved the near impossible by casting Vijay Sethupathi as Vijay's villain in 'Thalapathy 64' which has wrapped up its Delhi schedule where major portions of the film were shot in various colleges around the capital city. The next schedule will start in the hilly city Shimoga in Karnataka at a real jail and a jail set.

News has come that many confrontation scenes between the Thalapathy and the Makkal Selvan will be canned from the first week of December. Upcoming Malayalam hero Antony Varghese Pepe and few more important actors will be participating in the high octane action sequences.

'Thalapathy 64' has music by Anirudh and is produced by XB Film Creators with the stellar cast of Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Anthony Varghese Pepe, Gouri Kishan and others. The mega flick will be a grand summer treat for fans in 2020.
