Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to complete the entire shooting portions of his 'Bigil' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment in time for a grand Diwali release this year. The film with music by A.R. Rahman has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, Vivek, Anandaraj and Daniel Balaji.

Vijay will soon move on to his next 'Thalapathy 64' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' and 'Kaithi' fame. It is said that talks are on with leading actresses including Rakul Preet and Rashmika Mandana to play the female lead. Interesting news doing the rounds is that the team is in talks with popular Malayalam hero Antony Varghese to play one of the villains opposite Vijay. The young star made a huge splash on the scene with his sleeper hit 'Angamaly Diaries and is said to be excited about acting opposite the mass hero. We have to wait for the official announcement regarding this.
