The shooting of 'Thalapathy 64' is going on in full swing in Shimoga, Karnataka and everyday fan videos are making their way to the internet about thousands of fans thronging the hotel that Vijay is staying in and at the locations as well. The film boasts of a huge star cast that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Sriman, Sanjeev and others.

A few days back popular villain actors Dheena and Mahanathi Shankar joined the cast of 'Thalapathy 64'. Now the latest addition is veteran character artiste Rajesh who flew to Shimoga to play an important role as well.

Anirudh is scoring the music, Sathyan Sooryan is in charge of the camera and Philomin Raj is the editor. Lokesh Kanagaraj and his team are working nonstop to bring the film to theaters for Summer 2020.
