There has been a buzz for a long time that Thalapathy Vijay and Mohan Raja would combine for a strong subject and many expected it to be 'Thalapathy 64' but Lokesh Kanagaraj has been the surprise choice by the mass hero for his next.

However Jayam Ravi during the promotional press interactions for his upcoming 'Comali' has revealed that his brother Mohan Raja and Vijay are very close to each other and are waiting for the right project to work again and are holding discussions often. Mohan Raja is currently penning 'Thani Oruvan 2' and its likely that he would reunite with Vijay for his second film after 'Velayudham' in the next couple of years for 'Thalapathy 65' or 'Thalapathy 66'.
