First day shoot details of 'Thalapathy 61'

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 61st film temporarily referred to as 'Thalapathy 61' has went on floors today. Today being a Muhurtham day, the formal pooja was conducted today at a farm house in ECR. The shooting has also begun there today itself.
Sources reveal that the first schedule will happen for ten days in the same spot. Scenes involving Vijay and Jyothika will be canned here. The source also adds that these are the period portions of the film set in 1980s.
After the Chennai schedule, the subsequent ones will be in USA and European countries.
'Thalapathy 61' is the grand 100th project of Sri Thenandal Films banner and it is being directed by Atlee.
