Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest movie 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha and Sanjay Dutt is making waves at the worldwide box office. Though critics were divided the film is set to break several previous records for a Tamil film.
Meanwhile it is already officially announced that Lokesh Kanagaraj's next film after 'Leo' is going to be Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 171' produced by Sun Pictures. Anirudh is scoring the music while Anbariv will be taking care of the stunts.
The talk in Kollywood is that Lokesh Kanagaraj is keen to have a top hero as the villain to lock horns with Rajini in 'Thalaivar 171'. The first choice for the role seems to be Mollywood superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran. Sources say that it is very early to confirm anything right now but talks could begin in a couple of weeks.
Prithviraj who has more than half a dozen films under his belt including 'Aadu Jeevitham' and 'Vilayath Buddha' is currently recuperating from an onset injury and will be back soon. His next release is the much awaited pan Indian biggie 'Salaar' on December 22nd. He plays the chief antagonist opposite Prabhas in the gangster action drama directed by Prashanth Neel.
