The most wanted filmmaker in Tamil cinema, Lokesh Kanagaraj has kickstarted his promotional activities for his upcoming biggie 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay. The dark gangster actioner with music by Anirudh and costarring Sanjay Dutt and Trisha among others is releasing worldwide on October 19th.
Is is already officially announced that Lokesh Kanagaraj is going to direct Superstar Rajinikanth's 171st film produced by Sun Pictures. The film has music by Anirudh and stunt choreography by Anbariv. Lokesh in his recent press interaction opened up that he will be taking a week break after 'Leo' release and will begin a hectic five months long preproduction work of the Rajini project.
The sensational director revealed that he shot 'Leo' with an ordinary camera and then converted it to IMAX technology. But he and Manoj Paramahamsa who is cranking the camera are reuniting for 'Thalaivaar 171' and will shoot important sequences directly with an IMAX camera. This will be the first project in Kollywood to do so according to sources.
Loki also added that he wrote the screenplay of 'Thalaivar 171' before 'Maanagaram' and will adapt it to the current times during preproduction. The film is expected to be a mega treat for fans in theaters in 2025.
