Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer' that was recently released is receiving huge response from fans all over the globe. The Nelson directed film with music by Anirudh is said to have crossed 400 crore rupees gross worldwide. It is also said that the film will set a new box office record as it is running in many theaters as a packed scene.

Now the focus of fans has shifted to Rajini's next project 'Thalaivar 170' which will go on floors next month. The film is produced by Lyca Productions is directed by 'Jai Bhim' fame T.J.Gnanavel.

There were reports earlier that famous Telugu hero Nani will play an important role in 'Thalaivar 170'. However latest reports suggest that he is currently unable to allot dates in the film and now talks are underway to replace him with another popular Telugu star Sharwanand. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier are also said to be in talks for the other lead roles.

After the massive success of the Rajinikanth starrers 'Petta' and 'Jailer', Anirudh will be scoring the music for 'Thalaivar 170' as well which is going to be a major highlight.
