Superstar Rajinikanth started shooting for his next 'Thalaivar 168' at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad and currently, a song is being canned composed by D. Imman. It is said that its a rural-based story and now unconfirmed sources are saying that Rajini's character has two wives and how he deals with that is a part of the plot.

The sources add that Meena and Khushbu are playing the roles of the two wives. If this turns out to be true then the Thalaivar is playing a character like this after twenty five years since Meena and Roja fought for him in 'Veera' directed by Suresh Krishna.

'Thalaivar 168' is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures with the cast of Rajini, Meena, Khushbu, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori. Plans are on to bring the film to theaters on Diwali 2020.
