Superstar Rajnikanth's 168th movie directed by Siva has started shooting yesterday in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. This movie is produced by Sun Pictures, who had previously produced Endhiran and Petta with Superstar Rajnikanth, and the team started shooting with a song.

It has been already announced that Thalaivar 168 will have Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakashraj, Soori and Sathish as part of the cast, and that this will be a family entertainer. Now, actor Sriman has met director Siva in Hyderabad, and it has been said that he will be acting in Thalaivar 168.

Though there is no official confirmation yet, on whether Sriman is acting in Thalaivar 168 or not, it must be noted that Sriman had acted with Superstar Rajnikanth in Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss. Thalaivar 168 has music by D Imman and cinematography by Vetri.
