News of the Day! Rajini gives call sheet to Ilayaraja after 33 years

Isaigniani Ilayaraja is synonymous with music and is one of the most influential film music composers ever in India. He is also known for his lyric writing and singing but the current generation may not be aware that he also produced many super hit films in Tamil.
Two of Ilayaraja's films produced under the banner Pavalar Creations are Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Rajadhi Raja' and Kamal Haasan's 'Singara Velan'. We already broke the news to you first that the legend is keen to return to film production and has held talks with top heroes of Kollywood. Now sources from the Tamil industry report that 'Thalaivar 169' is most likely to be produced by Ilayaraja and talks have gone to the next level. The film will be directed by Balki of Amitabh Bachchan's 'Paa' , Dhanush's 'Shamitabh' and Akshay Kumar's 'Padman' fame. It is said that the film will release in multiple Indian languages and the official announcement will be made very soon.
