Superstar Rajinikanth basking in the success of his just-released 'Darbar' took time off from the shooting of 'Thalaivar 168' and celebrated the Thala Pongal of his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and her husband Vishakan Vanangamudi. Photos of the couple with Rajini and Latha Rajini performing the rituals has gone viral on the internet.

Soundarya and Vishagan tied the knot on February 19th and this is their first Pongal which is celebrated as Thala Pongal for newlyweds. She had shared on social media "Wishing you all a very happy Pongal . with my adorable Husband & absolutely amazing in-laws Vanaga appa and Usha amma pic with Thalaivar soon".

Soundarya is busy overseeing her ambitious 'Ponniyin Selvan'; web series which she is producing under her banner May 6th Entertainment which she has named signifying her son Ved's birthday.
