Thala Ajith has given several blockbuster hit movies in his two and a half decades in Tamil cinema and most of the characters he has played have been mass and are celebrated by his loyal fans. It has now come to light that producer Boney Kapoor's associate Rahul has bought the Hindi remake rights of 'Vaali' and 'Varalaaru' for huge sums.

In 'Vaali' directed by S.J. Suryah Ajith played Shiva and his lust-driven deaf-mute twin brother Deva who pines for his sibling's wife and even goes to the extent of murder. In 'Varalaaru' directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Ajith played triple roles of an effeminate father, his good son and another son who aims to avenge the father. It is one more milestone in the box office king's career that his two most memorable films are being remade after so many years mainly because of his portrayal of those five different characters.

Ajith has currently finished fifty percent of the shooting of his upcoming film 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor and the rest of the filming is expected to resume only after the coronavirus pandemic ends.
