Thala Ajith is one of the biggest heroes of South Indian cinema but he and his family lead a down to earth private life. Shalini Ajith had taken their two children Anoushka and Advik to the Vandaloor Zoo in Chennai. According to reports a huge crowd gathered near the cages that tigers were kept.

At an unexpected moment, one of the tiger cubs apparently startled by the commotion suddenly attacked one of the zoo staff named Vijaya and bit her hand ferociously. The other staff rushed to her aid and after rescuing her took her to a nearby hospital and admitted her. The Ajith family along with the other onlookers were shocked by the unfortunate incident.
