Thala Ajith will be seen next in the H Vinoth directed Ner Konda Paarvai, which is produced by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor. The movie is the official Tamil remake of the 2016 Bollywood flick Pink that starred Amitabh Bacchan and Taapsee Pannu.

With the film currently in post production phase and having been announced as August 10 release, the trailer of the movie was released recently and had been receiving terrific response. Television host Rangaraj pandey who has made his film debut in Ner Konda Paarvai, as the advocate fighting against Thala Ajith, has opened up on the interesting moments during the shoot, in a recent interview.

Rangaraj Pandey said that though Vinoth had called him for a role in the movie, he hesitated to act after watching Ajith's performance in Viswasam, but however finally accepted, and the day he met Ajith for the first time, he gave a warm hug and welcomed him, thanking him for accepting the offer. He also revealed that, watching him reading the dialogues and memorizing them, Ajith had trolled "Epdi irundha Pandey ipdi aayitaaru", referring to Pandey's TV career where he had been shooting sharp questions to politicians and celebrities and now being in a situation of preparing dialogues.
