Thala Ajith was last seen on screen as the village do-gooder Thookudurai in the Siva directorial mass entertainer Viswasam which turned out to be a blockbuster, following which the actor worked in Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth and produced by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor.

The movie, which happens to be the official Tamil remake of Bollywood movie Pink, stars Thala Ajith as a lawyer and Vidya Balan as his wife, while Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang play the girls who face a legal case handled by Thala. Ner Konda paarvai hits screens on August 10.

Post the wrap of Ner Konda Paarvai, Ajith is all set to reunite with H Vinoth, and this movie touted to be an action entertainer is again produced by Boney Kapoor, It was said that Ajith is shedding pounds to gain a fit physique and the latest buzz is that he might be playing a police officer in this movie. An official announcement is awaited to confirm if this will be another cop flick like Mankatha and Yennai Arindhal for Thala.
