Singer and dubbing artist Chinmayi who's known to be the active crusader of Me Too campaign on Twitter, is quite active on the platform and voices out her opinion on various issues. Now, the singer has watched the 2019 movie Ner Konda Paarvai starring Ajith and has appreciated the actor for being a part of the movie.

Chinmayi has posted a note which read "I am a very average film watcher who likes happy films. It's very hard for me digest any kind of gritty films. And I was scared to watch Nerkonda Paarvai because I felt it would be difficult. Finally found the courage to watch it last night. And I was so happy to see the message being conveyed in such a sensitive manner. Lots of love and affection to the team. So heartening to see big stars like Ajith sir agree to do such nuanced, progressive films. He will help spread the message wider and hopefully make many think, question and understand. Really happy that Pawan Kalyan sir is doing it in Telugu. So proud of writers and directors who are making films like Nerkonda Paarvai, Dear Comrade and Brochevarevarura. Thank you for your understanding and sensitivity. It helps to have allies like you to change how we think about and respond to such situations."

It must be noted that, in the past Chinmayi had also praised Viswasam starring Ajith and Nayanthara, and had tweeted "Just got to watch Viswasam. Absolutely loved it. So heartwarming to see such a progressive film. Makes me so happy that this film did so well."
