Thala Ajith who rarely makes public appearances was today spotted at the Chennai Police Commissioners office and those who recognized him there requested selfies which he obliged. It was revealed in the photos that Ajith has gone for a clean-shaven head which is apparently his new get-up in 'Valimai' for which he will be shooting the final schedule abroad soon.

Meanwhile, the real reason why Ajith went to the police commissioner's office in Egmore Chennai is a very interesting story in itself. Ajith apparently booked a cab and wearing a mask had traveled from his home in ECR to the city. He was on his way to the Rifle Club where he is a long-time member to practice but unfortunately, the cab driver's GPS was playing havoc and misguided them inside the adjacent police compound. The people there were then shocked when one of the biggest movie stars in the country stepped out and innocently asked them for directions to his destination and then they all gathered around and took selfies. This was once again an incident that showed how simple the Thala is and the fans were overawed that he is traveling by cab like any common person.
