Make way for the King of Opening: 90% screens for 'Vivegam' in TN!

Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' is getting ready to hit the screens on a massive way on August 24, 2017 which is less than five days away from now. The advance bookings have already started in a few theatres in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
Thala is considered to be the King of Opening and for the past few years his films have been releasing in historical number of theatres. This time the talk is the 'Vivegam' will be releasing in at least 900 screens in Tamil Nadu state which has a total of 1090 theatres. There are also unconfirmed reports doing round that the TN Theatre owners have planned to allot 95% of the total number of screens in the state for 'Vivegam' for the first four day weekend, that includes the Vinayakar Chathurthi Holiday which falls on Friday (August 25). The original full theatre count will be final only on the release day.
As far as Chennai is concerned 'Vivegam' will be screened in all screens of some popular multiplexes such as Devi, 'Rohini and Abirami, All these three complexes have four screens each. This will be retained for at least the first four days.
Other multiplexes such as Sathya, PVR, Luxe, Sangam, Udhayam and others are also expected to allocate the maximum number of screens for 'Vivegam'.
It is said that the film will take a historical opening in Chennai. It may collect somewhere between Rs.4-5 crores in its opening weekend, in Chennai city itself.
The theatre counts may increase and the collections may break the ceiling. But one thing is sure that Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' is all set to create new history in the Box Office.
