Cine Industry is one place, where we get to see the superstitions are pampered heavily. Since, the entire movie is made up of a considerable number of persons, though one does not like it, they have to tolerate it. Number 13 is considered unlucky almost all over the world, but it doesn't seem to be for Anriudh. The man who has been delivering nothing but stellar stuff can raise his collars once again for raising the standard for the commercial genre.

Surviva - Yogi B, Mali Manoj, and Ariudh Ravichander

This bullet has already attacked us, and the same sets the album on fire, literally. The casual, 'La La La' a sweet fire which goes on to ignite 10000 wala. Yogi B gets a tremendous ground to come back to K-town and he hardly takes any time to inject all the energy in the world. Anirudh aptly carries the baton from him after the first interlude only to pour more fire power to the already blazing tune and setup. Yogi B comes back once again to end the song on a high which only he can produce. The 'Knocking Down' doors in the last minute alone going to bring the roof down for sure. Overall, a fantastic theme for raising from the ashes.

Thalai Vidudhalai - Anirudh, Harish Swaminathan, and Ajith Kumar

How is it to hear your hero throwing a punch to start a tune? Ajith sounds with all his vengeance to kick start the tune, and Anriudh continues the momentum brilliantly from 'Surviaa' to produce another Rock affair. Electric Guitars to Drums to Punchy Vocals, Anirudh gets everything so perfect which will definitely make you stand up and fight for anything.

Kadhalada - Pradeep Kumar, Anirudh, and Shasha Tripathi

As per the unwritten rule book of an OST, a compulsory melody after two high voltage elements. Albeit saying that, all three singers have rendered their best to dish a serene feel. Violins have always been a strong forte in Anirudh's composition, and the same was visible even in 'Maari' which is an out and out grammatically right 'commercial' movie in terms of Tamil cinema. The composer makes use of Shasha and Pradeep's best to serve the melody.

AK Theme Music - Instrumental

Yes, 'Theri Theme' in 'Vedhalam' was not something dearly expected from Anirudh, but the same was justified to the story line it dealt with. Well, this exactly opposite from the wonder boy as it turns the coin upside down to dish a truly international 'THALA' flavor. One can imagine Ajith walking, shooting, racing, and doing everything under the Sun for this track.

Veriyera - Poorvi Kautish & M.M. Manasi

The girl who rendered 'Meagamaan Meagamaan' has joined with Poorvi to get the OST back to its flavor. Trumpets are the most underrated instrument in serving the goosebumps, and glad it appears right at the start along with the pulsating drums. Seems both Poorvi and Manasi enjoyed the task on their vocal chords and tagged along energetically throughout the song. To maintain the uniformity, Anirudh makes his presence too in the middle, and it is not at all tiring. The base theme with respect to the tune is missionary but the lyrics compensate for the same.

Kaadhalada (Reprise) - Anirudh, Namratha, Saasha Tripathi

What was starting to sound like more of a cover version to the one dished out already, actually turns to over power the other one. The sound arrangements are at the right pace, and the flutes give the track a fresh appeal compared to the previous one. Anirudh plays it brilliantly by keeping the track to 2 mins and that's a fantastic ploy to retain the soul alone without extending for the sake of it.

Never Give Up - Raja Kumari

Unarguably, soundtrack's best song is here! It seems Anirudh has shrewdly placed this one, at last, to leave that international flavor for a long, long time. Following the associations with independent artists like Hip Hop Thamizha, Brodha V, Inno Genga, and few other tremendous voices, Anirudh ropes in Raja Kumari for this James Bond-ish track.

Anirudh must have some serious fascination over violins and it is damn evident while building the momentum. The clever ploy to slow down - pause - drop the beats, and pick it all again with 'OH OH' with guitars are truly gorgeous. This track has all the label to survive in the long run, and personally, Anirudh should have enjoyed pretty much while composing this one.

Verdict : Anriudh was all obsessed with this OST for more than a year, and he can be really proud of what he achieved with the output.
