'Vivegam' completes another Crore Collection weekend

Actor Ajith Kumar's much publicised 'Vivegam' released on August 24th and it took a 5 crore opening in Chennai city box office. Now the Siva directed flick has completed another weekend in Chennai BO and it has collected more than one crore in its second weekend also.

In the weekend between September 1 and 3, 'Vivegam' was retained in 20 screens across Chennai and 228 shows were screened with an average 85% occupancy in these three days. With this the film has collected Rs.1,06,47,206. It should be noted that two Tamil films, four Malayalam films and a Telugu film released in this weekend and competed with 'Vivegam'.

The total collection made by the film since its release date has crossed Rs.8 crores (Rs.8,56,71,548) in 11 days.

With this 'Vivegam' stands as the sixth highest all time grosser in Chennai city. The trade is upbeat about the film's prospects as it has been holding on well even in week days as far as Chennai city box office is concerned.
