Thalapathy Vijay fans are without any doubt the most active when it comes to social media and always make sure that anything to do with their idol becomes a trending topic on the internet and break records.  However, the Thala Ajith fans have overtaken them for a social cause and have helped a much-needed hashtag trend among the top.

It is a known fact that Tamil Nadu and especially Chennai is reeling under severe drought and all water sources have dried up. Veteran actor Vivek put up a hashtag #தமிழகம்காக்க_மரம்வளர்ப்போம் to bring awareness among the net users.  Indiaglitz on our part called upon the Thala and Thalapathy fans to give it an impetus on twitter and both responded enthusiastically.  At the time of this writing the Vijay fans have given 2969 likes and 1320 retweets and surprisingly the Ajith fans have overtaken them by a huge margin giving 4510 likes and 2007 retweets.

Our intention here is not to give one more reason for the Thala Thalapathy fans to fight amongst each other but to unite for a social cause.  When Pray For Naesamani a comical tweet can trend worldwide and grab the attention of people why not the one that cries for help in this hour of need.  Many among our viewers repeatedly question on social media why we are posting cinema news (by the way that is our job) when there are other important issues in society.  Well here we are supporting a noble cause initiated by actor Vivek and all we want is the Thala Thalapathy and fans of other stars to make it trend globally and force the government to take notice and come up with a proper action plan to stop deforestation and start planting more trees to solve the water crisis.
