Thala Ajith's 'Daksha' team flies to Australia for finals

Thala Ajith was appointment as the technical adviser for the MIT team Daksha in preparations for developing an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The team has won the preliminary rounds and are participating in the finals competing with 13 teams all around the world to be held at Dalby Model Aero Club, 743 Cecil Plains Road, Dalby, Queensland, Australia.
The Medical Express UAV challenge finals is happening from today September 24th to 28th and the teams are expected fly their aircrafts unmanned to a person in a remote area cut off from any form of transport due to flooding water. Blood samples have to be collected and the UAV should safely return to base.
The Thala Ajith mentored Daksha team is one of the favorites to win the title and the Thala fans and the general public are waiting anxiously for them to make the mass hero and India proud.
