Thala Ajith the much-loved box office king of Kollywood is not only an inspiration to his fans for living life on his own terms and coming up through sheer hard work but also for the other passions he follows. It is well known that Ajith is a professional level bike and car racer, an extraordinary cook, and a skilled national level marksman in rifle shooting among other things.

Thala Ajith served as the expert consultant during the design of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle by the Daksha team in IIT Chennai who participated in the UAV Challenge Medical Express 2018, which was held in Queensland, Australia and came second. The drones are developed to supply medicines to remote areas and hilly terrains where other traffic is impossible.

The Thala expertise was put to good use during the 2020 lockdowns forced by the coronavirus when the drones were used to sanitize many cities and rural area thereby minimizing risk for frontline workers. Karnataka ministers even certified that the areas in which the drones were used reported zero further infections at that time.

Now the second wave of COVID 19 is raging on all over the country spreading at a rate almost four times of the previous one. The Thala Ajith Daksha team is once again back in action to fight against the deadly virus and the videos of the drones used in South Tamil Nadu including Tirunelveli have gone viral.

Fans have taken to social media to hail that this is the 'Valimai' (Strength) of Thala Ajith who in spite of not having a movie release for more than a year is still trending for his other contributions to society.
