Thala Ajith all through his career of close to thirty years has been involved in many accidents due to his insistence on doing all the dangerous stunts without a double to give his fans their money's worth.  Last week fans were once again shocked by the news of another mishap during the shooting of 'Valimai' in Hyderabad.

The details of the accident at the 'Valimai' sets has now been revealed and according to sources Ajith was riding a Ducati bike in full speed during a chasing scene.  At the end of the shot Thala did a wheelie (front tire up) when suddenly he lost balance and fell down with the bike on top and was dragged for a distance.

The frightening thing is that the hot silencer had caused burn injuries to Ajith's shoulder and arms and he had to be shifted to a hospital to get first aid.  However the mass hero quickly recovered within a couple of days and in spite of the team insisting him to take rest he shot for all his remaining scenes and returned to Chennai only after that.

Now the scratches and wounds that Ajith sustained in the accident have healed and he has let the 'Valimai' team know that he is ready to shoot any time.  The next schedule is planned in a foreign location which will be finalized soon and the cast and crew will fly after that.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the principal cast comprises of Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Pearle Manney and Karthikeya.
