It has been 26 years since Thala Ajith signed his first Tamil film 'Amaravathi' on 3/8/1992 and ever since has grown into one of the biggest box office draws in South Indian cinema and has gained the respect of every superstar in Indian cinema.

Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi who shared screen space with Ajith in 'Vivekam' has sent a cute note the Thala "26 years of my nanba, greatness growing into legend! Love you brother! I’m sure you will entertain us with many many many more unforgettable performances! Yenuka ‘Viswasam’ iruka!"

In his 26th year Thala Ajith is currently shooting for his 58th film 'Viswasam' directed by Siruthai Siva and costarring Nayanthara.  He is also set to join hands with 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' director H. Vinod for his next film to be produced by Boney Kapoor.
