Thala Ajith has one of the biggest fan following in the world but he is admired for keeping his distance from the public and concentrating only on his films and his life passions such as cooking, bike racing, rifle shooting, and aeronautics. The super handsome star gave two back to back blockbusters 'Viswasam' and 'Nerkonda Paarvai' in 2019 and is currently shooting for 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and costarring Huma Quereshi.

There is a buzz in Kollywood circles that Ajith and Sudha Kongara are likely to team up for his 61st film and a meeting will ensue after the coronavirus pandemic subsides into oblivion. Sudha after her pathbreaking 'Irudhi Suttru' starring Madhavan and Ritika Singh has completed 'Soorarai Pottru' with Suriya in the lead which is one of the most awaited films of the year.

Sudha was the favorite to helm 'Thalapathy 65' with Vijay but due to longer pre-production that project is said to have been pushed to the future. If Ajith gives the nod for this one it will be the third time he will be working with a female director after Sushma Ahuja (Uyirodu Uyiraga) and Gauri Shinde (English Vinglish).
