Ajith Kumar fans who missed him on screen for almost the past two years due to the COVID 19 pandemic are most likely to be compensated with not one but two movies this year. Already 'Valimai' which was postponed from its Pongal release is planned for a February or March release once the lockdown restrictions ease out.

On the other hand 'AK61' directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor is also gearing up to go on floors in a few weeks time. It is Ajith's third collaboration with the director and producer and he is said to be playing dual roles with positive and negative shades.

We broke the news earlier to you that Bollywood actress Tabu will be playing an important role in 'AK61' and that she will be reuniting with Ajith after 22 years since they played lovers in 'Kandu Kondein Kandu Kondein'.

The other breaking news regarding 'AK61' is that veteran actor Prakash Raj is also on board to play a very important character. Prakash Raj has shared screen space with Ajith in 'Aasai', 'Raasi' and 'Paramasivan'. The duo are reuniting after 16 years and fans can expect their chemistry to create fireworks.
