Thala Ajith is currently involved in the final schedule of his next film 'Viswasam' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sathyajyothi Films. The film that costars Nayanthara as the female lead is expected to release for Pongal 2019. The King of Opening will next star in the Tamil remake of 'Pink' directed by H. Vinoth that goes on floors in early January 2019.

Now there is a hot buzz regarding 'Thala 60' which according to sources will be a historical directed by Vishnu Vardhan who is joining hands with Ajith for the third time after 'Billa' and 'Aarambam'. It is said that Rajesh Kottapadi of KJR Studios will be bankrolling this mega project based on the novel Rajendra Chozhan written by Balakumaran. Rajesh has already bought the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of 'Viswasam' and this will be his second association with Thala Ajith.
