Thala Ajith is busy shooting the final portions of 'Viswasam' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sathyajyothi Films. The film which is confirmed for Pongal 2019 release has Nayanthara, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, Vivek and Thambi Ramaiah in the cast.

It has already been reported that Ajith has given the call sheet for his next film to Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor as promised to his late wife Sridevi during the shooting of 'English Vinglish'. It has been decided to remake Hindi super hit courtroom drama 'Pink' starring Amitabh Bachan and Tapsee Pannu. Director H. Vinod of 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' has been roped in and he is currently involved in adapting the script to taste Tamil audiences with several changes in the screenplay as well as the lead character to suit Thala Ajith's mass hero image. Shooting is expected to begin in the first week of February.
