Thala Ajith's next movie 'Thala 59' aka 'AK59' has begun the initial phase of production from the past few days and the office is bustling with activity with producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinod in the fray. The film is the official remake of the Bollywood super hit 'Pink' with Ajith reprising the role of the aged lawyer played by Amitabh Bachan in the original.

We had already reported that Nazriya Nazeem has been roped in to play the lead heroine in 'Thala 59' in place of Tapsee Pannu in 'Pink'. Now sources close to the team confirm that Kalyani Priyadarshan the daughter of director Priyadarshan and actress Lizzy is on board as a parallel lead. Director Adhik Ravichandran apparently plays one of the villains and the official word about the casting will be out soon.
