Finally the wait is over. The much expected project of the year 'Thala 57' will be commencing in the month of July.

Sources reveal that Thala Ajith's yet to be titled 57th film to be directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films banner will commence its shoot from the 15th July. As it is being reported for quite sometime, the film will be extensively shot in foreign locations and the first schedule has been planned in London.

So far only the music director has been confirmed. Anirudh Ravichander who gave super hit songs in Ajith and Siva's previous blockbuster 'Vedalam' has been retained for 'Thala 57' also. It is being said that the 'Mankatha' actor will have two heroines in the film and Anushka is almost confirmed for one of the heroine roles. We will have to wait for the official announcement to know whether this is true.,

Ajith met with an accident during the last leg of 'Vedalam' shooting and underwent a surgery immediately after the film's release in November 2015. He has been taking rest for these months as per the doctor's advice and he is making a grand comeback with this film.
