The Thai Cave Rescue Mission became internationally famous after 12 boys and their football coach got stuck in the Tham Luang caves in Thailand. The boys were trapped inside the cave for 17 days during the course of which an extensive and risky rescue mission was carried out to save the lives of the boys.
Now the happy update is that the rescued boys are out of the hospital after treatment. Not only that but another startling update is that: contrary to earlier reports the football coach had stated that the boys did not bring any snacks with them during the trek. So they had to only drink water from the stalactites.
In the latest press conference, the doctor overseeing the treatment has also said that everybody has recovered and are in good healthy condition with an average 3kg weight gain. However, contact with the boys are limited as there is concern that the boys may suffer psychological damage.
