'Thaandavam': Jagapathi's identity revealed

It's a known thing that Tollywood star Jagapathi Babu is playing a crucial role in Vikram-starrer 'Thaandavam', being directed by Vijay of 'Deiva Thirumagal' fame. Now we have some interesting details about the role.

According to sources, Jagapathi is playing a police officer, who is in search of Vikram. Another highlight is that the Telugu actor will dub in Tamil on his own, as he is well versed in the language.

Jagapathi could not say no when Vijay approached him with the Thaandavam offer. So impressed with the character and the script, the Telugu leading actor, despite his busy schedule in Tollywood, agreed to do the role, sources say.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, 'Thaandavam' has Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson as heroines. Recently, the wedding anniversary of Saranya and Ponvannan, who are doing important characters in the movie, was celebrated on the sets of 'Thaandavam'.
